Pargat Singh and Chhotepur meet AAP MP Dr Gandhi

Chandigarh: A day after the formal launch of Awaaz-e-Punjab, a political front, the leaders started their people mobilization campaign on Friday.
Under the campaign, the suspended SAD MLA from Jalandhar Cantonment, Pargat Singh and former AAP Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur met with AAP rebel MP from Patiala Dr Dharamvir Gandhi.
Sources also revealed that the leaders had close-door meetings with Dr Gandhi who has agreed to support the Awaaz-e-Punjab.
In a press conference in Chandigarh some days ago, Dr Gandhi had also announced formation of a front, to rescue Punjab from the current situation.
On Saturday cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, Olympian Pargat Singh, Simarjeet Singh Bains, Balwinder Singh Bains, MLAs from Ludhiana, formally launched Awaaz-e-Punjab and announced to float a political party in next 15 to 20 days after concerting supporters and roping-in like-minded leaders.
