Kejriwal slams Captain Amarinder and Navjot Sidhu

AAP National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has revealed that Navjot Singh Sidhu was offered the post of Deputy Chief Minister in the event AAP formed the government in Punjab. But Sidhu had rejected the offer.
Kejriwal has made this revelation amid talks of Sidhu joining Congress post his meeting with the Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi. AAP has since declared that this post would go to a dalit MLA if the party secured majority in 2017 Assembly election. The talks between Sidhu and AAP had snapped for the reasons unstated officially so far by the latter.

This is the first authentic version of AAP as claimed by Kejriwal on why his party’s negotiations with Sidhu had failed to fructify. However, Sidhu had, in a recent news conference, at Chandigarh slammed AAP for its offer of making him ‘a showpiece’. His wife has since officially joined Congress in the presence of its Punjab unit chief Captain Amarinder Singh.
