Youth, father thrashed by bouncers in club

Chandigarh:A 21-year-old youth and his father who, along with other family members, had gone to a club in the Industrial Area, Phase I, to watch Jasmine Sandlas’ show, were allegedly thrashed by bouncers last night.
Sources said the victims, Hardik Chadha (21) and his father Rajeev Chadha (45), residents of Sector 16, Panchkula, had gone to the club along with the family.
The victim’s mother said her son wanted to get a selfie clicked with the singer following which he went close to the stage. She said it was then that a bouncer pushed him. The incident led to an altercation.

The victim’s father intervened after which both of them were thrashed. The bouncers then moved them out of the club. Rajeev, in his complaint to the police, alleged that his gold chain was also snatched by the bouncers.
The police were informed after which both victims were taken to the GMCH, Sector 32, for a medical examination.
A police complaint has been made at the Industrial Area police station and a daily diary report lodged.
