Rs 1.42-crore Porsche at dera centre; no papers

A Porsche Cayenne GTS worth Rs 1.42 crore is parked in a special cabin of Naam Charcha Ghar here for the past six months. Its documents are missing. Ask dera followers about the SUV and they refuse to divulge details.
Sources said around six months ago, a special cabin of aluminum grills was constructed in the main hall of the dera centre. The SUV in yellow metallic colour was brought to the centre from Gurugram. It’s been parked since then. To date, the vehicle’s been driven for 1,374 km.

“The price of the high-tech SUV starts from Rs 1.35 crore. The metallic yellow colour is Rs 7.5 lakh costlier and is made available on demand,” said an official of Porsche company.
Ranbir Singh, in-charge of the canteen in the centre, claimed he neither knew about the vehicle’s owner nor the whereabouts of the documents. “I don’t know who brought the vehicle here,” he claimed.Meanwhile, seven police personnel led by head constable Harmegh Singh are deployed in the centre.
A specially constructed room for screening movies of the dera chief has been locked, while a tempo with a special projector is parked outside. A poster of “Jattu Engineer” rests against a wall.
