Khaira Case: No comment, says Amarinder on Bains brothers bribery allegations against judiciary
Chandigarh , November 27 , 2017: Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday refused to be drawn into the controversy erupted over serious allegations of bribing a judge in order to influence the case against AAP leader Sukhpal Khaira.
The allegations were leveled by MLAs Simarjiot Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains of Lok Insaaf Party at a news conference here today.
When asked, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh declined to comment saying that the case against Khaira was subjudice.

Bains duo demanded CBI probe into the matter as they released an audio recording claiming it to be conversation about payment of Rs 35 lakh to a judge for passing order against Khaira in the ongoing drugs case. They claimed that that they had solid proofs in this regard.
The alleged audio conversation is purported to have taken place between dismissed PCS officer TK Goyal and former additional advocate general (AAG) Amit Chaudhary.
Goyal was recently dismissed on corruption charges. Chaudhary was AAG during the Akali rule.
The Bains duo alleged that the case against Khaira was a politically motivated conspiracy.
Both said they would meet Governor VP Singh Badnore along with AAP MLAs at 6 pm today to demand the CBI probe to ascertain the truth.
