A Hindu organisation had recited ardas imitating the Sikh Ardas at the inauguration of Maluka’s election office recently at Rampura Phul.The Akal Takht Jathedar had directed the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to investigate and submit report.Then the SGPC had constituted a 3-member probe panel which has submitted it’s report to the Akal Takht.“Maluka’s statement has been received by the probe panel through SGPC member Major Singh who was present in the function,’’ said Singh.A few days ago a resident of Mehraj village in Rampura Phul Hardeep Singh had filed a police complaint and has demanded registration of case against Maluka for hurting the religious sentiments of Sikhs.
The nearly 5-minute-long video clip of the ‘ardas’ has gone viral on the social media and has been attracting adverse remarks from the members of the Sikh community.In his complaint the complainant mentioned that the prayer though recited as per the tenets of Hindu religion it is similar to the way ‘ardas’ in Sikhism.After the ‘ardas’ as Sikhs raise a slogan of ‘Bole So Nihal’ here is was Jai Shri Ram but in the same.
